Plot :
A former rock star, Johnny Boz, is brutally killed during sex, and the case is assigned to detective Nick Curran of the SFPD. During the investigation, Nick meets Catherine Tramell, a crime novelist who Boz's girlfriend when he died. Catherine proves to be a woman who is very clever and manipulative, and though Nick is more or less convinced that she murdered Boz, he could not find any evidence. Later, when Nilsen, Nick's rival in the police, were killed, Nick suspects Catherine's involvement in it. He then began playing a dangerous game of mind full of lust-Catherine nails, but as their relationship progresses, increasing the number of bodies and evidence to the contrary to force Nick to start questioning his own suspicions about Catherine's guilt.
